Cairns is where many of our clients fly into when fishing Hinchinbrook or Cape York, it doesn't offer a great deal in the way of shallow water fisheries. It is however quite close to the Great Barrier Reef and is such well serviced for tourists in Diving and Snorkelling.

Our Cairns guides, do have the local rivers tapped for Barramundi, Tarpon and Trevally but the real fishing out of Cairns is Offshore.

As long as the weather permits, chasing Tuna, deep dredging wrecks and reefs for Mackeral, Trevally and other reef species is on offer to the flyfisher wanting to stretch the arms.

This trip can easily coincide with a Hinchinbrook trip as Cairns is the arrival and departure City for most anglers.
