Just finished a long stint of days on the water, sightfishing Barramundi was the main source of entertainment.
Threadfin Salmon, Giant Trevally and Queenfish were the other species chasing and eating flies.
A couple of bites the days we did target Permit but alas no photos.

Neil, who is normally Permit charged renewed his passion for Barramundi fishing, spending practically his whole week focused on them.
We sightfished them in ankle deep water, dragged them deep out of structure and on the odd occasion used stern language to fish that wouldn't play our game...an amusing and enjoyable week that saw us come in just under 80 boated Barramundi and a huge amount of hooked and lost or jumped off fish.

Looking forward to Sept/October and a promise to get the camera out a little more often.

I still have some availability in November and early December at Hinchinbrook. Now is also a good time to consider dates for 2011, the best ones fill first
