Two of the best and busy months of the year, a few highlights of new and old friends...

Cameron and Marty their 1st, but not last trip to Hinchinbrook.

A new pole is on it's way, lucky for the loaner, no push pole manufacturers in Oz.

David and Michael Hinde captured 27 species for their week, here are just a couple..

Phil Smith a seasoned Barramundi angler is a regular client and a pleasure to fish with.

A few more smiles from Rob.

A few more from the flats...

Micah's 1st Aussie Permit...after more trips around Australia than you could imagine, Hinchinbrook comes through.

Permit central..
I have only been fishing with Neil (Dr Permit) Shepherd for a short time though we have been working very hard together to come up with flies that are very specific to what we are targeting and where..we have worked on a couple of Permit flies and well, here we are..

We had booked some good Permit tides, pity we didn't book the weather as well, but the couple of days that allowed us a small window Neil hooked 8 Permit and landed 5...two of the others rolled the hook and the 3rd got all the way back to the boat before a few violent head shakes saw the hook come loose.

It was off to the Barramundi when the weather played up.

A few more pics need addding next time around.

Good Fishing,
Dave Bradley
