The monsoon season seems to have snuck in a week or so early, keep us off the water in the north. Luckily we all had a few days out before that happened.

Michael made his yearly gig at Hinchinbrook, it was windy but still plenty to do!

A great year for Goldies continued and after this little flood they'll be back for more..

Meanwhile Hervey Bay had a cracker start to the Black Marlin and Tuna season, many of the Blacks will move on but one of our clients got one last week with Andrew in the shallows.

The Tuna season has also been good so far with some big Lontails cruising the beaches, Andrew had a double hook up of Longtail and Marlin over Xmas and still lots more of that to come.

The baitball action has started with various Tuna and Trevally species along with Spotty Mackeral mixed in, there can be spectacular surface feeding action with all those critters around.

It's looking to be a bumper Longtail season ahead and look for some reports with flats Goldens, Queenfish, GT's and more...

Below is a little video Andrew and Scott put together on a day off.
