June is typically the month Barramundi slow down a little, well this year June turned into a Barra festival all over the place.

Clear skies and warm days meant Barra were keen to eat, neaper tides mean clearer water and good sight fishing for much of the tide.

Luke with one of many Barramundi he boated and jumped off in 2 days.
Luke managed his 1st Barra on fly in the 1st hour and continued on to catch many more and about another 10 species, also getting a bite off a Permit but not coming tight unfortunately.

Dave and Phil are Barramundi regulars, Phil having over 50 trips to the north under his belt.
The guys boated plenty of good sized Barramundi, Queenfish and Tarpon, to name a few.

Neil Shepherd an AFO regular, boated this great Barramundi on one of his Pinkthing like creations, measured 97cm. Neil also got a short bite from a Permit that missed hooking up...Stacks of Barramundi on fly including this PB, another successful trip for Neil.
I'm back to Florida now for 3 weeks, Snelly is keeping the wheels turning here, running a few days while I'm away.
Dates still remain open for the end of the season 2011 and we are already taking booking for 2012.
