September is another great month at Hinchinbrook, a little windy this year but blue skies day after day.
Big Queenfish were in big numbers cruising the flats like Atlantic Tarpon, often just as tricky to feed.

Some real big fish amongt them, these were all great fish but all average of the sizes swimming across the flats.
One of our regulars Rodney, scored an Aussie Slam of epic proportions, a Permit, Golden Trevally, Barramundi and Queenfish in the same day...

Rod also caught an Aussie Tarpon and a Mangrove Jack that day as well to really rub it in.

Some other critter that came to play.. not Marty the Cobias

The new Lodge base is working well and our regulars are enjoying the glam sunrises on the marina... 2015 will run the same and is close to booked for this period, some great dates available April to June.
