It’s been a busy period here at Hinchinbrook. Here are a few random shots of what’s been going on.

During some good weather periods we’ve had some great shallow water sight fishing opportunities for all species, Barramundi, Giant Trevally, Threadfin Salmon, Golden Trevally, Queenfish and Permit.

We’ve struck out on landing a Permit through the last month, plenty of good shots and a couple of bites where the hook missed its chance.

Steve and Tom Cooper had a week of flyfishing Hinchinbrook, we had a great time, we had to work for our fish but much of it was sight fishing and good weather. The guys caught 19 or 20 species for the week and saw some big fish out on the flats.
